Not as impressive as the recent #Firecrest photos by @davecarlsson.bsky.social, but an enjoyable (and frustrating!) time this afternoon giving it a go!

Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to photograph some Tigers in #ranthambore NP, #rajasthan, #India. This sub-adult posed on a rock for a while, which made up for the hours of demonstrating just how good it was in disguising itself in the undergrowth!

I took this photo on 17th October, whilst out looking for a comet. The plane flying across the face of the moon was a reminder that sometimes luck can help with photography (I hadn't planned for, nor expected a plane to appear).
