1. D&D Basic Set

2. Call of Cthulhu 2nd Edition

3. Masks of Nyarlothotep 1st Edition (the one with the matchbox, which I still think is the coolest prop ever.)
Two roleplaying game boxed sets sit on a crimson bedspread: to the left is the game Call of Cthulhu (depicting three characters in a graveyard beneath an ominous house; one doomed character, probably an NPC, holds a lamp aloft - a tentacle loops menacingly towards him), and to the right is Masks of Nyarlathotep (a leopard snarls in the foreground on its cover; in the background a gargantuan red-tentacled horror holds its bloody claws aloft, perhaps guiding a firestorm that's also pictured towards a doomed Kenyan village. There's a lot of doom in these images, isn't there?).
