I don't know if I am more surprised that it has only been or already been a year since Navalny was killed (2/16). As we are dragged toward becoming a vassal state to Putin, though, we need his spirit more and more.

For a "small government" party, Republicans sure want gov't to be in charge of a lot of your business: who you can love, whether you start a family, which books you can read . . . now: what you can produce on your own farm.

Yep, and the people whining are the ones who voted for him. The chaos and entropy will not care if they pull the flag up over their heads like 4-yr-olds trying to hide from monsters. Might as well be wrapped in a pancake when he comes to devour them.

The same reason they are cutting special education funding and vocational rehab. The eugenicists only love soldiers and others who are strong and sharp. Suffer a disability or mental illness? You're toast. They don't care about how you were before.

They are coming for the children next. They want to squeeze money out of them (us) with privatized schools, indoctrinate them with curricula saturated with religious propaganda, and funnel them into work programs that thrive in the wake of child labor law roll backs.

And yet the collective minds & talents of the entire Democratic elite have not managed to dislodge her from her seat. They need to stop calming/reassuring us "we will rebuild" and start showing us they know how to do that. Everything else is just a puppet show.

Can we show @jaimeharrison.bsky.social some appreciation? Maybe you'd have done things differently. Again and again, though, he seemed to be sincerely working his heart out for the campaign. Thanks, Jaime, for fighting so hard and still taking time to pick people up as you went!
