Honestly, yes. Sometimes you have to lose a few battles to win the war. What battles you are willing to lose is the million dollar question.

This might be a silver lining. If the American people can see the rot out in the open, perhaps there will be an awakening and maybe the people will demand change. Might not happen, however.

I think the incentive structure for these raids is broken. If you want to arrest and deport undocumented immigrants, there are less violent and chaotic ways of doing that than what's been happening.
