He says it is more problematic for us as we export more outside the EU proportionately. Surely those would be unaffected, it is all imports but just exports to custom union countries that would be affected?

My mother received an ancient pension of £13.15 per month. One assumes that would mean this exemption from income tax wouldn't apply to such people, and we will have yet another cliff edge build in?

Operators currently are paid by the government. All fare revenue goes to the government. The level of fares doesn't in broad terms impact them.

They have a multi year contract without a notice period. If the club agrees that then it has to pay it, it can't break a contract unilaterally. Usually there is a get out if the manager gets a new job, and alternatively they can agree a one-off sum instead, only though if both parties consent.

There's also the issue that the move to defined contribution pensions will leave some pretty large pots, whereas defined benefit pensions by definition left nothing.

But no TV or Radio station is allowed political advertising, there are no variations. Ofcom would need to write a completely new code as there are so many parts of their existing advertising codes that would be completely inappropriate to online advertising.

Presumably if online companies were subject to the same government advertising regulations as TV channels, then you would ban all political advertising online?

Presumably your view is that Google's and Apple's power should be increased, and not only any possibility in Apple's case and actuality in Google's case of apps not going through their store should not be permitted.
