The NHS has just been given the green light to significantly expand access to HIV prevention medication, PrEP.

We welcome the updated @bashhuk.bsky.social / @bhiva.bsky.social guidelines on the use of PrEP, which mark a major step forward for HIV prevention in the UK.

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a vital tool in HIV prevention and can be beneficial for more people. It can be taken as a daily pill which acts as a shield to prevent HIV.
