Lesser Flamingos with chicks, Lake Natron. Good conditions this year, so huge numbers have arrived to breed. They construct conical mud nests to keep eggs and chicks clear of the water...

Every few years, when conditions are perfect, Lesser Flamingos congregate at L Natron in their 10s of 000s to breed.

This is one of those years.
