Great to see trees being planted on a Sunday morning on Gray's Inn Road; part of Camden's work to plant 600 trees a year.

Thanks to Camden Labour's commitment to tackling climate change, we are on course for a quarter of Camden having tree cover. 🌳🌳

Great to be on the #LabourDoorstep in Fortune Green with my co-councillor, Lorna Greenwood, London Assembly Member, Anne Clarke and Mark Guthrie.

Good conversations about estate improvements, tackling crime, and taking up case work for individuals.

Great news that our Labour government is giving #Camden nearly £700,000 additional funding to help tackle homelessness.

Our share of #Labour marking #WorldHomelessnessDay by providing councils nationwide with extra £84 million to boost #homelessness prevention.

Labour making a difference.

Delighted to have voted for Bridget Phillipson as Labour's next deputy leader.

Someone who will focus on campaigning, policy, delivery, organisation and electoral preparedness. The true purpose of Labour's deputy leader.

Daily Telegraph running a nasty story attacking Camden’s support for refugees and asylum seekers, with truly vile comments from national and Camden Tories.

Not repeating the story but here is my response:

And in case you’re wondering, the revolving restaurant does still revolve…

Some great old telecoms kit in the BT Tower, which will find their way into museums and elsewhere in the public domain, I’m sure.

Starting at the top.

First meeting of the day in Camden’s tallest building.

Good to meet #BTTower new owners, MCR Hotels, for site visit and to hear their plans for its future. A great opportunity to open this London icon to public, to support local economy and community.

A great @CamdenLabour team out this evening, with our West Hampstead by-election candidate, Francesca Reynolds (@CescaReynolds).

Lots of doorstep conversations on schools, transport, the need for new affordable housing.

A perfect sunny day on the #LabourDoorstep in Gospel Oak with @MarcusBoyland, @LarraineRevah, Matt Sudlow and Ffion.

Listening to residents in the Isokon Building and surrounding streets, discussing action on crime, our high-performing schools and supporting cycling.

In addition to celebrating #VEDay80, today is personally poignant, as it is the 80th anniversary of the US Army liberating Mauthausen concentration camp in central Austria, where my father was a prisoner.

Always thankful for the men and women who gave so much to liberate us all from Nazi tyranny.

What a top team!
Out this evening on the #LabourDoorstep in Fortune Green w/ @LornaLGreenwood, @EddieHanson, @CescaReynolds and @suleiman_osman1.

Good discussions with residents on traffic calming, the water industry, and Camden children’s and adult services rated ’Outstanding’.

John was a legendary figure in Camden politics over four decades. A great mentor to me as a young councillor and a source of fond memories.

He gave Camden financial stability while driving radical action on housing and left us a fine legacy.

I don’t normally take photos of service covers but good to see @CelticFC immortalised on the streets of Highgate. 😄

Happy 60th birthday, London Borough of Camden!

Here are the minutes of the very first meeting of Camden Council on 1 April 1965. A pleasure to have worked in later years, with two great @camdenlabour.bsky.social figures who were present that day, Roger Robinson and long-serving Leader, Roy Shaw.

A pleasure to address @LondonCoop Party annual conference as Camden’s first 'Labour and Cooperative' Leader.

Talking about Camden’s work to promote community cohesion, suport food coops & how #cooperative values inform what we do, from Camden Learning to our missions.
