And since @carlmc.bsky.social identified the Schliersee photo so quickly (well done!), here's another photo from my travels during the past year for others to play!

Who knows where this one is?

If you made it this far, thanks for your interest in my work!

As a reward, here's a photo of my dog Yo-Yo viewing last year's eclipse. 😄

Looks like Blue Sky is growing!

Welcome new followers!

By day, I'm an International Relations prof at ODU, and a World Affairs Council of Hampton Roads board member.

By night, I enjoy designing board games (published one so far, another coming) and traveling (points if you guess the photo spot).

CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Korkor for passing his dissertation defense! 🎉

Chris wrote a 425-page dissertation on how militarization of USFP affects political stability/instability in various African countries, including both statistical analysis and case studies of Nigeria, Mali, Somalia, and Uganda.

Solid advice from @pstaniland.bsky.social in @foreignaffairs.bsky.social, though as much as the article warns against Cold War analogies, it would've been nice to see this advice applied a bit more often during the Cold War too...

Had a blast today moderating this discussion with the Ambassadors to the US from Lithuania, Poland, and Romania, as well as NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation for the World Affairs Council of Hampton Roads
