The parcel delivery industry is very profitable. I’m sure this guy will be able to tap into that better as Royal Mail has a great ready-made infrastructure for it. As a letter delivery service, it’ll be a dead service soon as we live in an increasingly digital age.

The physical mail will be delivered whether we pay billions or that Czech billionaire pays billions. I’d rather spend that money on stuff that actually matters. It’s not a service that needs to be taken back by the state. It’s a massive liability in any case.

What is the point? It delivers letters and parcels. It’s not exactly an essential service like water and energy. Why spend billions of tax funds to bring that into public ownership?

Please could you help us get ofsted registered Nannie’s onto the list of approved childcare providers for the 15/30 free childcare hours. Currently they are excluded and that seems unfair.
