True, they're not going to relinquish power easily, but once WE really come to terms with the fact that we are the majority - an overwhelming one, not a slim one - and act like it, they will be finished.

The rabid right now has four propaganda stations it can watch: Fox, OANN, Newsmax, and CBS. Meanwhile, the rest of TV media doesn't really pretend it's something other than corporate ruling class propaganda. All this seems like a GREAT reason to stop watching TV entirely. Let the ratings collapse.

Not enough to prevent Kelly Ayote, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kristi Noem, Kim Reynolds, Kay Ivey, Nikki Haley, Mary Fallin, Sisana Martinez, Jan Brewer, and Sarah Palin from becoming governors, despite those affronts to Republican "masculinity." So who knows?

The court will probably have his three prison terms run concurrently, though .....

That's Jared's way of telling us he voted for Trump, had a Trump sign on his lawn, donated money to Trump ... so clearly his business problems must be the result of some murky, abstract (conspiratorial? "deep state"?) forces he'd prefer to describe as "your country." Or is it "his" country?

... and strangely, I was thinking that's what THIS bizarre assembly is!

I'll take "Horrifically ignorant people who assume I'm more ignorant than they are" for $400.

He certainly has fixated on "hot" as an adjective. I guess he's been watching old Paris Hilton videos - youtu.be/KHnPvzAQkyA?...

I guess the definition of a "successful media community" (not "company"!) is getting some right-wing billionaires to fund the dreck you churn out that flatters them. If you have that, it doesn't matter if no one reads you or pays for your product. Who needs markets when you have royal patrons?

If "THEY" keep the government closed .... that's a scream.

If "recognizing the threat landscape" means anyone you talk to may be an FBI informant at the same time that we need to organize solidarity, then in effect the "threat landscape" doesn't matter because you can't build solidarity if you think everyone you meet is a potential enemy.

Call me crazy, but I have a feeling "We must put politics aside" can be accurately translated as "I will be making absolutely NO concession demands."

The pattern seems to indicate a general dissatisfaction, so after two terms the attitude is "vote the bum(s) out." By comparison, I believe both houses of the NJ legislature have had Dem majorities for decades, but when Reps are governor they tend to get a lot of what they want.

For the last 50 years the general pattern for election of New Jersey governors has been a see-saw where each party gets two terms, save for Florio: Byrne (2), Kean (2), Florio (1), Whitman (2), McGreevey/Corzine (2), Christie (2), Murphy (2). So for Sherrill to win would be to buck this pattern.

Yale probably told him to wear that orange and black Princeton tie whenever he goes on TV because they don't want anyone associating these "performances" with Yale.

It's "his" party and he'll cry if he wants to ... and apparently he wants to.

I agree with this - including the implicit point that Trump's demise will (hopefully!) result in the collapse of his "coalition" - but we must also give credit for his success to the TOTAL failure of the other party. THEY gave us Trump too.

It would be a great thing if the NCPC could stop construction pending completion of its review, but given the other "exceptions" made for this monster's behavior so far I am not feeling optimistic. I would, however, be first in line with a sledgehammer to bring that (gold-plated) obscenity down.
