Curious that they go out of their way to not show much footage from the film. Even though this is last in my rankings, I’ve still seen this movie more times than I can count.

The most rewatchable Rocky. Question- has any other film just shown the ending on the poster like this movie did??

Excellent, you saved me the Google search, appreciate it!

Are there any good docs or even like dvd special features for this one? Curious why they decided to make a sequel in general. I remember as a kid being only vaguely familiar with the original.

Can’t wait to read it when it eventually comes out as both a fan of yours and a huge TZ fanatic.

This was the first issue I ever bought. The image is forever seared in my brain.

At some point when I was in college, my parents threw out all of my issues from like 1992-1997. That decision still haunts me.

Just went to look and how is it not on Disney+? Sigh. But I definitely will watch it, I have a soft spot for early 90s cinema, even if I’m watching it for the first time. Brings me back to my youth!

I was at that panel! It was a good one.

I’ve still never seen A Far Off Place. Worth a viewing?

Was there an official reason it never came out back then? I kinda assumed it was some weird rights issue? Especially bc the other View Askew films all got releases back then (I think?)

Still waiting for that belated trilogy capper! And yes, the sequel is still a lot of fun.

Saw this in theaters and then never revisited. I just remember it making me really sad? I need to watch it again.

Preordered mine last week but for some reason Amazon says it won’t come until 9/24. Annoying but we’ve waited 20 years, what’s one more week?

I’ve never heard of Martians Go Home. I guess that’s what Randy Quaid keeps referring to in ID4…

Goddamn, when the music hits…Niagara Falls frankie Angel. This doc will wreck me, cant wait.

Watched it again about 10 years ago and I remember it still being very funny.

Can’t believe they never finished off this trilogy. Saw Little Lady in theaters when I was around 8 years old and it was PEAK comedy for me.

Remember when not all movies were priced to own for years? Or maybe never? Particularly R rated films. I think I resorted to buying some on PPV and recording them onto a vhs myself. Looking at you…Face/Off

I remember this one so well, particularly the song Lovitz sings to the tune of Des’ree’s You Gotta Be. The lyrics are still stuck in my head 39 years later.

Thank you for including the trailer introduction from 1999 that was probably the most complicated dvd Easter egg ever. But it was worth it, some great gags in there.

I’m just trying to give them my money! Take our money hbo!
June 1, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Is it too much to ask for hbo to release the series on Blu-ray? I don’t think there’s any physical media for this one.
