Whilst out and about on a walk, there is distinct code between blokes as to how we acknowledge another bloke as we pass. It must be the faintest of nods, no words, a slight smile possibly, but it must be restrained, lest the other bloke thinks you’re a weirdo. It’s quite an art.

I have been watching a TV series called Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, in one plot run, the cops come up against a vicious gang from the Bronx called BX9.
