And 3, the fact that the wealthy, who can afford to pay more with no ill effect, would rather leave than support the poor, is exactly the problem with a late-stage capitalist system.

I don’t normally comment on these sorts of posts, but “never worked a day in her life”? Seriously? 😮‍💨

I’m a husband & father & I feel insulted for her. Hers is a INFINITELY more challenging role with a TON more work & NONE of the glamour.

Well the last 100 took a LOT longer than the previous seven. 🤷‍♂️

We’re all sorry. America and the rest of the world would be a better place if you were wrong.

Never thought I would ever have anything but a dark IDE theme, but here we are. 🤷‍♂️

This explains its use for teaching. The Wikipedia article also said this,

“It was widely used as a teaching language in university-level programming courses in the 1980s”.

Used Anthropic's Claude (latest Sonnet 3.7) to design the DB schema by passing it a spreadsheet we are using to record our ops data.

Claude created the DB after asking some questions & made some great suggestions. Then it created the Laravel migrations and told me how to run them. 🔥🔥

Progress!

Not sure about the UI/UX (I'm no expert) but this was created using the latest agentic Cursor.com in a almost one shot (there were heriocon import issues that needed another prompt to fix paths).

Looks 🔥🔥 to me with Shadcn/Vue and Cursor doing all the work. I love Laravel and Cursor!!

And now I have it deployed on cloud.laravel.com and using WorkOS for authentication. A little tricky and things to understand, but not too difficult in the end.

I decided to use WorkOS for authentication which added a learning curve but it does allow for using our company Google Workspace accounts for access.

And the default starter kit dashboard looks amazing if you as me. Love it!!

With four dogs in the house it’s best to keep your favorite toy close while you sleep. 😉

I hate click bait like this!!

Just one of the reasons I watch my esports on YouTube when I can these days. I already pay for YouTube Premium to get rid of adverts.

Our #stevia trial farm is looking fantastic at this time of year. Mid-summer the stevia grows incredibly quickly!!

ChatGPT tasks could be very useful.

Used to get my news on the hellsite and was wondering how to replace that. This might just be the solution.

I’ll keep you posted. 😉
