The follow-up questions that AI ask, when you've got your answer you needed, can feel quite jarring to just leave unanswered. It's almost like the AI is desperate to keep the conversation going.

If you're reviewing a webcam, why not just film the whole review on the webcam itself? This switching back and forth between your "pro" camera and the webcam just distracts from gauging whether the webcam is any good.

If AI Coding is so good, why are the desktop clients for Claude and ChatGPT crap? For something that should be a simple client, they feel extremely sloppy.

Asked ChatGPT to show me what some deep carbon rims would look like on my road bike. That was probably a bad idea as now I want some 🤤 #ribblebikes

I can't remember how many times I've tried to switch from Spotify and Netflix to Apple Music and TV, only to go back. There are just so many small UX choices I can't seem to get past that frustrate me every time I try.

"I understand your concerns about the missing parcel, and I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. I empathise with your frustration regarding the situation."

No bot, you can't empathise at all...

"Your request to activate Remember me was not successful. This is because you have 2-Factor Authentication enabled on your account for additional security."

Like I kind-of get it, but I really don't.

I get depressed thinking about how much good the world’s biggest organisations or richest people could do. Yet the eternal drive to earn more will always come first for them.

It's amazing that Google Maps goes into this much detail.

Supplier: Would you like to come to this IT leadership dinner we're hosting?
Me: No, thank you.
Supplier: What's holding you back?
Me: My cripling social anxiety.

For some roles, communication is 90% of the job. The challenge is knowing what to communicate and who to communicate it to.

Everyone loves a new stick to beat employees with. Especially AI-powered Taylorism ones.

I've tried many times to ditch my Kindle for physical books. But after straining to read the size of font used in my latest purchase, I think I've given up physical books for good.

If I fell asleep during meetings at work, I don't think I'd keep my job for very long. Why are people in the highest possible positions of power allowed to get away with it?

It's genuinely sad to see that most of the internet is now engineered to produce nothing but pure rage. Reading the comments on posts I just can't believe that there is an actual human spewing some of these thoughts and opinions about things. Rather than get angry, I just think "what a strange bot".

The honesty of this error message 😂

I'm constantly debating whether I should read digital or physical books. The convenience of digital can't be denied. Still, there's something about the spatial awareness of a physical book and simply having books around the house to encourage my son to take an interest in them.

The Orion browser honeymoon is over. It's crashed a few times in the past couple of hours, which is pretty jarring when you're trying to get stuff done. So it's back to Firefox for now.

I've been using Kagi's Orion browser for a few hours and really like it. Having an alternative to Firefox that isn't just another Chromium wrapper is a definite win.

There are some wild things on Amazon that I never even knew were a thing. Who is buying enough fast food meals to need a sauce holder for their car?
