I tried the cutting tool attachment on my Bambu H2D this weekend, and I'm kind of blown away by its accuracy. Far better than the cutting tool on my xTool M1. Hoping to try the drawing attachment later this week. #3dprinting #2dprinting

I may or may not have just finished off the remains of some Pistachio Pistachio right out of the container.

Note to self: Don’t cover Seklema mat with parchment paper when storing. #laserengraving

Really happy to learn today that the H2S is less desirable (to me, anyway) than the H2D. Especially since I recently added an H2D to my workshop! #3Dprinting

I picked up a thing this weekend. I'm gonna need a bigger workbench. #3dprinting

I think Microsoft's/Open AI's new 3D modeling feature doesn't yet fully understand 3D. #3Dprinting #ai

Well, this looks like one damn unspleasant week.

I still don’t like that bulbous hood, but this is a much better looking QX80.

I apparently failed this test three times already, so Walmart doesn't get my business today.

While I prefer the 0.4 results, I can live with the 0.6mm. 0.8mm is no bueno. These were printed on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon using Bambu PETG-CF. #3dprinting

Running my first 0.8mm nozzle print job for strength. I've always convinced myself I wouldn't like the print quality of anything that large. We'll see how this goes....

I wasn't excited to see that this @marketplace.org swag is more of a trucker hat than a baseball cap. Whatever—it'll look good on a shelf. But what really bothers me is the syntax. If it's a sentence with a period, then capitalize it. If it's not capitalized, then why the period? #swaggrammar

Cool cool, @dropbox.com ... don't bother explaining what this means. Normies will absolutely understand the implications of this negatively presented option and act appropriately. #BUI #UX #darkpattern

@marketplace.org You used the "'s" version of the TIPS jar on the Make Me Smart podcast episode image just to mess with me, didn't you? 🙈 @kairyssdal.bsky.social @kimberlyadams.bsky.social

P.S. Bye, Kai! You will be missed on the show. 😢 Make Me Smart is how I came to know about Marketplace.

Mostly unrelated: I got a kick out of how my car demonstrated the very issue of emoji compatibility, consistency, and interpretation while I was listening to the @99pi.org episode about exactly that!

Just finished reading The @99pi.org City in our work book club. Loved it so much and was so happy to share it with my colleagues!

Been thinking a lot lately about retirement. And the more I hear about companies (often unnecessarily) adopting AI, the more I feel that next step in my life can't come fast enough. I remember when my stepdad retired early because he didn't want to learn Windows. Now I kinda get it. This me now.
