I think “mainstream” is pushing it a little bit - he was always pretty wild - @rolandmcs.bsky.social will have a more informed view. But, like himself, I never thought he’d be the sort of person to start going on about “white genocide”.

I think Nadine Dorries’s spell as culture secretary put a dent in that stereotype.
