The other thing I’m noticing is Threads’ design feels like it has … 2-3% more breathing room between elements. In such a small context (mobile app) that extra “white space” makes a difference, for my brain, at least.

Dear @slotkin.senate.gov — you asked what AOC and Bernie are actually doing? BEHOLD, IT’S CALLED ORGANIZING. It’s this thing where you actually go out into communities and try to win people over to your side, and it’s best done more than 4-6 weeks out from an election. Hope that helps.
