Please remember that Ukrainians suffer missile and drone attacks at night, and in the morning face long hours without electricity or heating. We are freezing. It is really cold here.

Every day brings new challenges, but we are still doing our best. We are holding on. Stay with Ukraine. Support more.

The frost is fierce
No heat
No light
Power drained
By Putin's might

No lifts
No water
The long march upstairs
Wondering if anybody cares

Power returns
Some heat
Some light
Quickly charge
Everything in sight

Amid the energy crisis caused by russia, Kyiv keeps going.

Severe frost brought ice,
and today I saw the sidewalks being salted.

A small thing,
but it means the city is alive.

I know many awful things are happening in the world,
and chaos often prevails.

That’s why it’s so precious to see support and care for Ukraine
(especially in moments when it feels like we’re all alone in this).

There’s so much the world can learn from Ukraine.

After midnight in Kyiv.
Electricity is back after a 19-hour outage.
I have three hours of light.
Air raid alert.

And I’m waiting for the water to get hot enough to wash my hair.

No electricity for 15 hours.
Maybe it’ll be back tomorrow morning (usually for no more than four hours).

I’ll save my phone battery.
Will write only if something critical happens (or when power returns).

Winter.
I saw it like this today.
As long as I don’t lose the ability to see beauty,
I’m alive, resilient, strong.

Severe frost.

This city (this country) stands because of its people.

russia attacked energy infrastructure again.

Survival mode is on.
Cold in the apartment, electricity is rare.
Perhaps I need a new book.

Spring will come.

We have more electricity today than yesterday.
Still, emergency outages in our part of the city (no schedules).

And this snow 🤩

It always amazes me how we keep going after the attacks,
amid power outages and the absence of the normality you’re used to.

Maybe we don’t even think about the “how.”
We just go on.

Kyiv today.

🇺🇦👀 Zelensky: We have to understand — the number of their soldiers is decreasing.

This year, 2025, is the first time when the number of their army stopped increasing.

So we think 2026 will stop the war. Otherwise, Putin will decide to mobilize people.
