It turns out that post-All Star break Josh Giddey is just the real Josh Giddey. If he carries on averaging 23/10/9 he’s going to be an All Star himself.

What a win-win trade this turned out to be. Caruso played a key role in getting OKC a title. Bulls now 20-5 in their last 25 with Giddey running the show.

I honestly think the Bulls would have given the Cavs a more competitive series than the Heat. I mean it still would have been 4-0 but I don’t see the Bulls losing by 55 at any point.

I’m setting this up to be an ice cold take later, but I believe this change of role has unlocked the best and most consistent version of Coby White and we’ll finally be seeing him in the All-Star conversation next season.
March 23, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Before that, Coby had to wait in line behind Zach AND DeMar DeRozan - two ball-dominant primary scorers who naturally play a slow, half-court game. That left Coby mainly as a three point shooter. He is a capable but streaky shooter from behind the arc - it wasn’t a great use of his full skillset.

Bibimbap doesn’t have lamb in it - Koreans rarely eat lamb. Bibimbap doesn’t have chunks of meat that size in it. Bibimbap doesn’t have lime in it. Bibimbap doesn’t have string beans in it. That’s also the wrong kind of rice for bibimbap.

Otherwise you’ve nailed bibimbap, good job Hello Fresh

When I'm looking at the highlights of last night's Bulls game and the thumbnail has Talen Horton-Tucker in it, I know dark shit happened

I still think there are more inefficiencies of PSR to be exploited. The 2011 NFL CBA gutted the 'middle class' of player - everyone was 'star or scrub' in contract terms. My Patriots identified this, loaded up on the underpaid middle class and won championships. What's the PSR equivalent? End/

So United should be taking a leaf from Chelsea's book. Cut bait quickly if a player is either (a) a big money buy and not producing, or (b) a youth team product and not going to be a major contributor. We hung on to Sancho far too long when he was crap from day one for example 12/
February 17, 2025 at 11:52 AM
From a PSR standpoint, the 'good' sales by United in recent years were McTominay, Henderson, Elanga, Kambwala and Greenwood. All youth products, no initial purchase cost and therefore all pure profit on sale. Unfortunately none of them touched £30m 11/
February 17, 2025 at 11:52 AM
On big money players who are a big loss: to Manchester United. No big club understood PSR less than United over recent years. They have repeatedly spent masses on players who values rapidly cratered and sold them for a fraction of their cost. This is THE cardinal sin of PSR 10/
February 17, 2025 at 11:52 AM
Chelsea also get that a player from the youth system is 'pure profit' under PSR, so you're incentivised to sell him. Hence goodbye Conor Gallagher and Lewis Hall. Doing this takes balls - you're taking the risk that this player won't end up being world class 9/
February 17, 2025 at 11:52 AM
The one I would pick out as 'getting it' is Chelsea. PSR incentivises 'quick turnaround' transfers. Buy a player. Try him out. If he's not immediately good, sell him before he loses value. The worst player to have in PSR is the big money guy who you can't shift without taking a massive loss 8/
