The striking fact about this is that TOTAL support for:

- left & centre (LAB,LD,Greens, SNP,Plaid) has remained the same (totalling 51% a year ago and 51 now)

- right & far-right (CON, REFUK) ditto (45% a year ago, 46 now)

Shifts are WITHIN each block…

Neil Kinnock points out that Brexit:
- cost UK economy £100bn a year
- reduced tax revenues by £40bn a year
- exited UK from system where asylum seekers are processed by first EU country entered & can be returned there

conference in Brussels today, Nick Thomas-Symonds made a good case for the UK-EU reset process. But many of the academics/diplomats/MPs/civilservants/trade associations/journalists present felt it was insufficient to change the dial economically. Much more needed!

Almost all countries in Western Europe have higher rates of top band income tax than Britain does

These figures are the proportion of the whole electorate, including don't-knows/don't-care/don't-vote.

So, if you compare like with like:

2016: 37% of the electorate voted to leave, 34% to remain

2025: 34% (down 3%) want to stay out, 52% (up 18%) rejoin

=> Voters: 64.2% Rejoin, 35.8% stay out.
