The white supremacist US empire was founded to enable genocide of Natives to steal their land. Lots of horrible presidents and others involved in this and other crimes against humanity in the US and around the world. Yet most still celebrate many of them including one who just passed away.

The only confusion over plant-based food labelling in Europe is exactly which shadowy livestock lobby is behind it. There’s no genuine, citizen-driven demand to ban veggie burgers or sausages – just a meat industry push to protect its profit margins from a rising tide of dietary change.-Scott-Halkes
Instead of banning the use of the name “veggie burger”, the world would be a better place if meat burgers were banned. 🙃

Stagnation during last 20 years entirely accounted for by oil sector. Higher oil prices made capital-intensive sources of oil like oil sands viable to extract on commercial scale. However, greater input required/barrel of oil slowed productivity growth oliverdl.com/files/cje_wp...
