The Denton Animal Shelter dumped mama cat back at our house tonight after telling me yesterday that they would keep her until she got adopted. I stopped by at 3:30 today to drop off donations and coffee for the staff. I could've brought her home to at least heal from her spay incision.

Mama is the last outdoor cat that we are taking care of. She is the mother of 2 our cats. Tried to get her before the cold weather moved in but she avoids the trap and is skittish. Didn't see her yesterday, but she came by this morning for breakfast! We are back in the 40s and 50s rest of the week.

We usually don't put up a Christmas tree because we have cats. We decided to decorate the coat rack that year, and #Sofi was my helper. She was my buddy, and I will miss her this year.
