Great analysis here by The Australia Institute.
Preferential voting is the most democratic system available.
The irony is the conservatives who complain about it have received the most benefit (which is also why they introduced it)!

Well I never expected to be in marginal seat territory at a Federal election, but here we are. Just shows what a well organised community independent can achieve.

Well maybe don't make sweeping statements then.
Here. Your comment demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of what baseload is and what firming means. Typically people who concentrate on "baseload" misapply the term.

A couple of options.
If you want to limit all Bluesky notifications you can use settings on your device to either turn off notifications or deliver silently.
Or you could try turning on this notifications filter setting on bluesky (select notifications menu then the settings icon).

No, but she did promise to be faithful & bear true allegiance so the "Not my King" aspect was arguably a breach of her oath/affirmation.
Having said that, I think the censure motion was a bit over the top.

Not as executive government. Only by both houses of Parliament making a request to the Governor-General who has discretion to act/not act on that request.

Not quite that easy, although it should be possible to get sufficient Senate cross-bench support (unless a chamber "praying" to the Governor General means some form of super-majority is needed)
