I keep changing my mind but I think I’m still of the belief that better/more players would make a bigger difference than a new manager.

It’s something people really need to bear in mind when they’re pointing the finger at a title winning manager. Maybe his use of Gakpo is frustrating but he has so little else to work with and it’ll be the same for any one else. We’re in transition. It’s just frustrating we have to live it.

I’m at a stage where I can reason with both sides of the argument and so don’t know what I actually think. I don’t think any manager gets much more out of this squad without signings so part of me would rather we gave those signings to the league winning manager. But it is all very dour. Who knows.

This is where you earn your money. Seems like a dream job when all is going well but can’t think of anything more depressing than talking Liverpool 24/7 at times like these.

Loads of reasons we’re shite. Manager ain’t exactly doing much to help but he’s far from the biggest problem. Can’t see anyone else coming in and getting much more of a tune out of this squad. Just a weird imbalance to it all.

In a weird way with every loss I just care a little bit less. There’s something so off about it all I think it’s becoming so clear it’s about Jota.

Difficult to know what to think. His CV would be near the top if you wrote a shortlist of candidates for the job. There are a lot of big mitigating factors for him at the moment but 6 losses in 7 makes it difficult to fight his corner. It’s just a shit league to be in for us at the moment.

It’s a factor until you need something new to write about then you’ll happily discount it.

Not that easy when those teams play with 12 men. Don’t care what anyone says, referees are part of a British population that has an anti Liverpool psyche and far more decisions go against us than for us.

Big week taken it out of the players clearly. Can hardly blame them losing fight when they get perfectly good goals chalked off.

I’ll be surprised if both us and City win there.

2 points dropped but they are at least a decent side who’ve also taken points against Arsenal. Starting to see a couple cracks appearing though. Hoping players coming back from injury will help. You?
