As I sat on the second floor of the department building, a strange feeling overcame me—it felt as though the foundation was shaking, as if the spirit of the department had quietly departed.
Practical examinations were marked by mismanagement. To my surprise, some recently appointed permanent faculty members attempted to repeat the same question paper for a different batch, simply by changing the schedule. Core components of the practical assessment were incomplete.

Questions lacked clarity, and specific age-related concepts were not thoughtfully considered. There seemed to be a disconnect between the intent of the curriculum and its execution on paper.
Students appeared unanchored, often blank when it came to conceptual understanding.
