the distinction here i think for me is that i don't think that this is something only possessed by a select lucky few (trans people) but is accessible to all humankind (a "feminism against cisness") whether or not they themselves may be trans. the half-century

people can wrap their heads around direct visualizations of violence, perhaps consider violence against the oppressed unjust. but the violence of institutions is still invisibilized, deliberately, in how power and state violence are abstracted.
