My follow-up appts for cancer occur every 6-8 weeks. I didn't have insurance for a few months, so I paid for the visits out of pocket. The cost was $200. Now I have insurance again, which we pay for. My last checkup will cost me $280 on top of my $50 copay. The insurance system is a joke.

I believe I forgot to mention, but we rescued a dozen birds from a bad situation. They are coming around nicely. Our flock more than doubled overnight. But look at the eggs! #chickens

Today, my wife helped me get all the walls up. Now for the roof, and I hate cutting birmouths in rafters. So if anyone wants to stop by and take care of that, I'm cool with it.

I love it when the goats start shedding their winter coats, and it gets stuck to their horns from the scratching. It's like little tassels.

I forgot to update on the orange lurker cat. We have worked with him, and he came around quickly. You can even pick him up now. He LOVES attention, though he seems to lack manors to some degree. His name is Pete.

We found Loretta Hen egg bound last night. We had to bring her in for a warm Epsom salt bath and massage. We kept her inside overnight. She did pass the malformed egg. She felt great this morning and has rejoined her flock.

Today, we visited a park we had never been to, we saw a waterfall and had to stop. As we were taking in the scenery, we looked back and noticed a black cat had appeared in the parking lot. Suddenly, there were two, then three... it finally ended up at 8 cats. I'm sure there were more.
