Now it depends on major authors migrating, like @naval and @nntaleb, for Bluesky to become hegemonic

X losing 30% of its UK users in a year (and 20% in the US) is clearly bad for its financial viability, but it has also accelerated the downward spiral of the platform into increasingly extreme content.

Now Twitter is completely off in Brazil
To the point that Elon is now willing to negotiate with regulators
At the same time, people are increasingly adapting to Bluesky, and network effects are occurring

So there's all this optimal momentum for Bluesky to become a positive social media environment, but people are starting to spam this Follow Trick- SDV, polluting the entire feed. Why focus so much on the number of followers and not on content?

The "Following" section is far better than the "Discover" section (similar to Twitter/X's). It's free from marketing and trash posts.
I really needed that kind of optionality in X

Fascinating the ratio of good profiles and posts on this social media right now, you find them without much noise/information pollution

Don't know if it's my medicine + progressive ideas bubble but it's the first social media I entered following lots of older people ( mainly Europeans I think)
And they have great content and digital literacy

It's funny to see the delayed news about #NVDC34 plummeting by 10% as I only observed financials by X.

So I'm here mainly because Twitter has been down in Brazil for some days already
It seems like it won't return

The best time for any social media platform is always at the beginning. Bluesky brings back good memories of when Instagram was not commercial, and Twitter had no bots
