Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳

I was arguably to naive in the past in this regard..

But I found it very scary and depressing to witness in the last days how widespread (and in some circles accepted) antisemitism is in Germany.

It's unbearable that people are afraid to speak Hebrew and conceal their identity to feel safe 😔

4 von 5 Frauen haben eine Rente unterhalb der Armutsgrenze. Warum? Viele Frauen übernehmen den Großteil der unbezahlten Sorgearbeit. Dadurch gehen sie dauerhaft weniger einer Erwerbstätigkeit nach oder arbeiten in Mini- und Midijobs. Das führt im Alter zu einer niedrigen finanziellen Absicherung.
