The CDC typically provides grants to the states the manage many of the chronic disease prevention programs. The loss of the funding will likely hit the poor rural states like Alabama, major areas of MAGA populations. We’ll see how they feel about programs closing 😰😰😰😰🤣🤣

It is amazing how haphazard the firings of DOGE has been even though it has no real authority. Also, taking longstanding grants over a wide range of projects should not be solely by what DOGE believes are Trump’s priorities. He certainly knows nothing about individual grants GOOD LUCK 😖😖😖
