Sweet! Have fun! And from what I was seeing for Diablo II installs from blizzard the .exe looks into the default installation folder so it expects to be in the C:\Program Files(x86\ if I’m to understand from the different troubleshooting threads.

Did it happen to create a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\ by chance? Might also be within a Blizzard folder in there somewhere as well.

Try right clicking on game.exe and try Troubleshoot Compatibility and then under Compatibility tab select Windows XP and up to you to try and run as Admin
