I don’t do New Years Resolutions. I recognize there’s lots to work on when it comes to me, and generally speaking one resolution ain’t enough.

But…

A girl I graduated high school with accomplished something amazing last year, and when I asked her how, one of the things she said was discipline.

I went to see one of my favorite bands, Drive-By Truckers last night. I immediately noticed the sticker on Patterson Hood’s guitar he played for the opening song, and the button he had on a guitar strap later in the show.

Another one down.

I’ve made it my mission to read as many banned books as I can. Sinclair Lewis wrote this one 90 years ago, and it was terrifying how accurately it reflected our present day situation. I can see why this regime would want it banned, which makes me glad to read it. 10/10, recommend everyone read it.
