No date on the color piece, but it was probably about the same time as the B&W. This one had coffee spilled on it and was damaged when I tried to separate the papers, which made me heartsick. I could cry thinking about the art he's destroyed. He has Alzheimer's now and no interest in art anymore. 😢

I found two pieces while tidying up my office. Both are "horror vacui," although the B&W was about 1.5y after the accident in which he lost the use of his dominant right hand, so he was training himself to use his left hand. I love the styles nonetheless. B&W first:

She's so extra. The tiny click of the shutter noise disturbed her beauty rest. She'll be recovering from this outrage for a week.
A tan puppy sleeps under the covers, with both paws out and her eyes and nose covered by a piece of maroon fabric. Her visible ear is flopped up so that the pink inner part is visible and she appears to be smiling in her sleep. The puppy has been awakened by the sound of the camera shutter. She has raised her head slightly to look at the source of the offending noise. The ear that was stretched out is now flopped over and her other ear is visible; her nose is peeking out from under the maroon fabric. One paw is still positioned over the covers but the other is now hooked over her snout, blocking one eye while the other eye stares balefully at the photographer. She is no longer smiling.

Eh, on Maps the widest part by my eyeball is ~195 miles, so looks like the 100-mile zones from the east and west coasts overlap by ~5 miles. I defer to someone with more precise measuring instruments than a stylus and Google Maps though.

A mostly white cat with some flame-point/tabby-ish markings (and a pink nose and toe beans) lies on his side like a croissant, on a dark gray comforter. His front feet are loose and relaxed, and his hind feet are kind of crunched up like baby bunny feet. His tail is fully extended and relaxed. You can barely see part of his sparkly pastel-rainbow bowtie collar, which he despises. He is totally at ease, and none the worse for wear from his overnight stay in the garage. I, however, will be riddled with guilt for weeks. 😭

I took some laundry out to the garage last night, and Mack Henry took the opportunity (open door) to sneak into Disneyland (the cluttered part of the garage that is not the laundry area).

Friend of my mom's (a Trump supporter*) sent her this still and asked if this "Secret Service agent" was a robot or a genetically modified human.

My dog is sleeping on the right side of the bed for the first time ever! Usually she acts like the sheets are lava over here & sleeps behind me.

Here she is gazing at me adoringly. This is after I picked her up after dumping her at my mom's to let her (and me) calm her (and my) tits.
A small cream-and-tan dog with floppy ears, soulful dark eyes, and a black nose is resting in a booster seat in the front passenger seat of a vehicle. The booster seat is cream-colored, plush, and padded, and the dog - a chihuahua mix with a rather beagle-ish face - is is attached to the seat's strap by a black safery harness connected to a blue "traveling coat". She's resting her muzzle on the edge of the "box" formed by the sides of the seat, and staring at the driver (me) with an expression of besotted adoration that I would pay good money to ever get from a human. Alas, it's only because I was stressed out and "abandoned" her at my mother's house (where she could burn off some of her energy playing with her littermate brother) the day before.

Ah! Yeah, I didn't get to the end of the series. I finished The Mammoth Hunters but, didn't get much further than that. I tried to read Plains of Passage and Painted Caves (don't know about Shelters of Stone) but just couldn't engage.

This little tiny rim is not enough for my fat, weak, painful fingers to press against (the "oil" is like tar or resin). Silicon grips & pliers just make a huge mess & waste product.

Any #3Dprinting afficionados want to take a stab at creating an "over-syringe" or something? Other ideas welcome.
