i saw a deer in my yard for the first time the other day too! i grew up surrounded by woods, but now im surrounded on all sides by other houses, so its always nice to see wildlife again 💖

i already dug it up so im just confused about the logistics of it regrowing... idk if any remaining roots will regrow in a way that affects new stuff i plant there, or if i can just put new plants in and pull any new growth that appears. ig ill find out, lol

chop it down and expect it to die? surely digging out most of the root system is enough? is it really aggressive enough to return and kill another shrub from 1 leftover root?

theyve gotten so big!!! theyre a lil sideways but still happy 🥲 also the sunflowers were literally planted by a squirrel, i didnt expect them to grow so much and once they did i didnt have the heart to touch them 😭 now the birds are enjoying them
