I feel like remakes should be excluded from certain categories. Silent Hill 2 was known for its narrative so why nominate it? I feel it takes away from new titles.

My vote goes to Balatro, I haven't played BM: Wukong yet so it could be a close contender. I think Balatro displays best what I value in games which is innovation, strong design, a clear vision and completeness on release
