San Fransisco Dept of Public Health reports finding an #H5N1 #birdflu case in a child with no clear link to exposure to the virus. The #CDC still must confirm the positive test.

One thing that isn’t talked about enough is how closely tied disability can be to homelessness. Many disabled people are forced into poverty in order to keep their medical benefits. By doing so, the income they receive isn’t enough to live off of. This isn’t a moral failing, it’s the system’s fault.
