I’ve written to the First Minister, calling on Welsh Government to contribute to the scrutiny process of the Crown Estate Bill.

The new year brings opportunities, but Wales is facing the same old challenges: wages not keeping up with bills, public services struggling, HS2 billions still missing, and an NHS, despite the best efforts of staff, overstretched and at capacity.

Sad to hear of the passing of John Prescott. A giant of the Labour movement.
Was fortunate to have interviewed him as a young journalist. Straight-talking. Tough! But with a smile, & driven by principle he said what he meant & meant what he said.

Plaid Cymru tabled a motion asking Welsh Govt to seek protection for employers hit by the NI increase. Labour voted against.
Hear Labour *laugh* at the idea of anyone other than them running Welsh Govt.
