Look, this method doesn't *work* at all, particularly with my skill set, but I have a lot of ink to get through (completely separate batch).
One weird thing is the ink absolutely grabs anything put on top of it so I couldn't sponge out clouds, hence the dull opaque gouache

Another silly one. I primed a sheet with my home made wattle ink and then tried ink painting a slab hut but
A) I cant ink paint
B) Sized paper is terrible for ink painting
C) the wattle ink had huge amounts of guk arabic that gunked up the sumi
D) See A)
