I cut my teeth on that tech too (perhaps, literally). The patience it required! Cycling through all the settings one button at a time. Or remembering what two buttons you needed to push to get to a feature. And god forbid you zone out for a sec and have to cycle through everything again.

So I had a typewriter bc I used my Gen X older sister’s. BUT I remember being at a HS debate competition my senior year, and for some reason needing to turn in a history paper, so I wrote it by hand and faxed it in. Millennials would never understand.

Millennials had internet and keyboarding classes in elementary school. I don’t know what birth year that means, but I think that’s the actual difference. X got through college with typewriters/computers with no net. Xennials did keyboarding in jr high and got internet in high school/college.

It’s a core belief of mine that there should be a study of people who learned MJ songs before they could read and are now in their 40s and 50s and never learned the words right. I want to hear everyone’s 5yo versions of every song. 🤣
