And it’s so dangerous how the press describe sex offenders as ‘monsters’ etc instead of calling out issues with attitudes towards rape culture etc.

One of the most important points is that evil acts are not committed by "demonic monsters". They are done by people who seem ordinary but who are utterly thoughtless - something we know is a factor in this case
