😭 my friends, colleagues, and heroes!!

- Finally got to meet so many treasured friends in person! Maybe we are good and worthy of gentleness after all.

- Got to bond with some emotrans friends and make a lovely home-cooked dinner in the land of extortionate conference food
- Accidentally sat at a lunch table full of industry giants and award-winning luminaries

- Reunited with one of my first ever mentors, who very much told me not to go to grad school (and she was right, but here we are)
- Saw loads of keffiyehs and Palestine pins and felt in very good company

same, let's change jobs
