Amen. That word has bugged me for decades, & this is precisely why.

My story is now a very poetic novella called Hotel Gaslight. It is both fictionalized & wildly true. It is as fragmented as the experience I lived.

As I’ve leaned into literary writing over the last 10 years, I’ve considered this story many times. This summer, a group of writers enthusiastic about my writing pushed me to finally do it.

You’re publishing my weirdest work in June! But damned if I’m not determined to get weirder.
