Other interesting points include Mulholland suggesting there is a risk of "pathologising" SEND children as needing different things than other pupils. What's really needed are "schools that are fit for purpose".

MPs ask if making SEND support statutory would improve SEND provision.

McLeod said that we are "missing out" on tracking data for children with SEND support and that it's vital to look at it in the same way as EHCPs.
