Because it’s not about right or left. They are all part of the ruling class, so share common goals.

If you reframe it in terms of class it makes a lot of sense why the rich and powerful stick together.

Is it even both sides at this point?

Actual govt officials in MN: a few days basic coverage then forgotten

This event: it seems every outlet has a glowing tribute ready to go

Feels more like the media is firmly on one side by now.

Customers don’t give a shit about 0.0001% difference the same way they don’t care about how many unit tests there are. 99.999% of a working solution is easily enough value to get going. Why would you delay that to try and reach some technical perfection non-programmers don’t care about?

Building software to only work at the last possible moment is why it is difficult to talk to non-programmers. You need to deliver incremental progress and demos along the way to that final goal so team can adjust together or bail early if the idea is bad.

This is where I struggle too. I’m more of an emotional socialist than a useful one.

generally I think you’re right. People need incentives and support. I forget where but I’ve seen stuff like loan programs for groups of employees so they can purchase their workplace

All of the examples I’ve seen seem to work well. Also like that it’s so obviously better.

Would a worker co-op have off- shored American manufacturing to save on labour costs? Probably not!

Stock buy backs? Unlikely!

1000x ceo pay? Aint no way!

Ah, that completely explains why you have a fascists understanding of communism.

Okay, continue to enjoy the blue cult I guess! But seriously, read more bout these topics. We need more than party cheerleaders right now! Saying communism is simply state owned companies is really basic boo boo shit that hurts more than it helps
