We have to remember that music, ideally, can be something we do for ourselves as a way to reclaim our culture – not exclusively something we have to buy.

Just so y'all know what's happening at the Kennedy Center. Shout out to Yasmin Williams who is showing that we are not monolithic and that we all have different ways of protesting what is going on.
