Canada should invest in vaccine production and research (inc scooping up folks from US) and become a global leader in medical research and technology.
I dunno if Canada built that bonus vaccine manufacturing plant in Quebec or not but I sure hope so. Because when the next outbreaks hit—and they’re probably coming soon—we can’t rely on the U.S. to be helpful. Their new policy is “you get a disease, & you get a disease, everyone gets a disease!”

Does no one remember how people were losing their sense of smell & taste when they got Covid? You can also sustain hearing damage.
Paul Simon lost his hearing after Covid, effectively ending his musical career.
