Some of us simply don't have them, because we are not born that way. Similar to IQ - some people are naturally higher, others are naturally lower. EQ is what describes "soft skills" and is measured by psychology.

Yeah they did change a bit, I am not the biggest fan of the latest iteration - I liked the previous one more. 20 years ago might actually be either the old-old model, or the one in the picture. I think that this one was introduced around the 2000's.
