There's variants. Try to find the true Duvel, not anything like the Duvel Triple Hop - just anything Duvel without a qualifier on the label.

Pterodactyl breasts, we call 'em. Lots of chicken for the price :-)

That PBS audio article could have been a web page ;-)

But yeah, loving this movement.

(The regular one, haven't found this one over here)

It's tasty.

Found it a while back around here. Packed a punch, compared to a Duvel.

Or maybe it was because I had two or more that evening.

That's just one happy dog!
December 7, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Not the whole story, but perhaps what triggered that memory :-)
December 7, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Yeah, this takes time, not just one afternoon. And it's you personal (mind) journey as well. Take the time. With photos and such, there's no real rush.

The stories though :-)

Write down key points whenever you think about something? Maybe keep a little notebook for that purpose?
December 7, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Yeah, write down as much as you can. If other siblings, jump on a call even for 15 mins "HEY, do you remember <event>?"

And write it down. Or record it. However i'm still the 'writing down' person.

She lived a long life, though. Ups and downs i'm hearing through my parents :-/

Wasn't able to travel, so Skype it was. Parents still no direct access to omie for a long while, so anything i heard and saw was second-hand :-(

Omie, born in 1924, saw the Zeppelin fly over Amsterdam. Survived WW2, Survived COVID.

She told me: "At least in WW2 you knew who was gonna kill you. Now you can't see what did it."
December 7, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Full lockdown happened. Dad and mom standing outside the window, daily basis. Omie got covid. Survived. Vaccine worked. "I HATE THE FOOD HERE. NO FLAVOR!"
