Reminds me of Admiral Yamamoto's comment after the succesful Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor:"I'm affraid we've awaken a sleeping giant". Americans are beggining to realize Trump's undemocratic bent, will bring their country's demise.

Having lived in Buffalo, NY, during 9/11, I can attest at what national tragedies give way to: distrust of foreigners, and starting wars on false pretenses (WMD fiasco). The response to Sarah Beckstrom's tragic death may tear America's life fabric once again.

Reminds me of a United Airlines 1989 commercial titled "Face to Face": where a manager gathers his staff to inform them that one of his oldest customer fired them after 20 years. He blamed it in lack of "face to face" interaction.

In the case of the tragic airplane crash in DC, Trump's intent of blaming previous' administrations DEI aircraft controllers' hiring practices, is a clumsy and stupid attempt at freeing DOD and Uncle Sam of any liabilities and wrongful death class action suits by the families of the deceased.
